My experiences in technology have been like a sine curve. It's a love hate relationship. I enjoy technology and it's possibilities; however, I get frustrated at the limitations that exist in my world when I try to use it. I have used all types of education hardware: clickers, calculators, tablet laptops, document presenter's, tablet (connects wirelessly to laptop), etc. I also used to do extensive research combing the internet for the newest most productive website that will help me to be a better teacher/teacher leader. I had a great website created with a twitter account for my students to follow. I stopped working on it because it was too much effort for the small number of students that actually utilized it. I am actually at a low point in terms of my excitement for technology for the very reason I just mentioned. I am unsure if it is simply the population I work with, but it is hard for me to utilize technology inside the classroom. I typically used it as a location to store resources for students. Our new text book has some connections with technology, but not many. I also don't know the pedagogy well enough to incorporate technology in additional places, that will come with experience.
